Broadcast network NBC's broadband video-enabled NBC.com Web site unveiled several new advertising capabilities and a new full-episode widget Tuesday (note: NBC recently announced that NBC.com's Rewind player had generated over a billion full episode streams over the past 18 months--see the story posted on itvt.com on April 16th). The company bills the new advertising capabilities as allowing brands to "stay front and center as users interact with the content around their favorite shows." They include:

--Lets Viewers Sample Shows on a Range of On-Demand Platforms

US broadcast network, NBC, is offering a range of broadband video and other supplemental content on its NBC.com Web site to accompany its fall season shows:

• For "America's Toughest Jobs" the site is offering exclusive deleted and bonus scenes, and extended contestant profiles.
• For "The Biggest Loser" the site is offering extended versions of the show's elimination scenes, exclusive weekly bonus scenes, recipes from Rocco deSpirito, and more of Alison McSweeny's blog.
