Portland, Oregon-based interactive TV authoring software and services provider, Ensequence, has tapped Cameron Thomson Group (CTG), a provider of outsourced business development services to media, entertainment and technology companies, to help it expand its presence in the European and Canadian markets. "Cameron Thomson will provide Ensequence with the relationships and industry insight necessary to increase Ensequence sales in the European and Canadian interactive media and entertainment markets," Ensequence president and CEO, Dalen Harrison, said in a prepared statement. "CTG has a wealth of experience in Europe, the United States and Canada. Given their track record and expertise, they are well positioned to extend our reach into global markets."
News of its deal with CTG comes just weeks after Ensequence announced that it was expanding the operations of its London-based subsidiary, Ensequence International, by moving into new, purpose-built premises in London’s Tottenham Court Road, which include an expanded interactive TV set-top box testing facility, and which will serve as a base for its operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The company has enjoyed some success in the US and the UK: its clients to date include the BBC, the Disney Channel, EchoStar, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, MTV Networks UK & Ireland, and Sky Sports.
