Exclusive: Finalists for the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Interactive Media Peer
Group has selected the finalists for the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards
for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media.

This year, the awards recognize creative achievement in two areas of
interactive media endeavor: Nonfiction and Fiction.

The finalists for the 2008 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding
Creative Achievement in Interactive Media (Nonfiction) are:

  • America’s Player Interactive (CBS/Big Brother)
  • Project Runway (Bravo Media)
  • Top Chef (Bravo Media)
  • Dancing With The Stars Multi-Platform Experience (ABC)
  • Disney Channel Games Digital Media Event

The finalists for the 2008 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding
Creative Achievement in Interactive Media (Fiction) are:

  • HBO Voyeur
  • Kyle XY: The Collective Experience (ABC Family)
  • The Heroes Digital Experience (NBC)
  • Lost “Find 815″ (ABC)
  • The L Word Interactive (Showtime Networks, Ourcharts.com, Fanlib.com)

The finalists were determined by members of the Interactive Media
Peer Group in an initial round of judging that took place between June
23rd and July 14th. The winners will be determined by a Blue Ribbon
panel in a second round of judging that will take place in Los Angeles
on Thursday, August 21st; they will be announced in September.
