Two IPTV Providers Select CloverLeaf for Walled-Garden ITV Services

CloverLeaf Digital, a Brooklyn-based interactive TV applications developer that specializes in building and managing localized "walled-garden" services (note: the company’s customers include MSO, Time Warner Cable; regional cable operators, Grande Communications, PrairieWave Communications, and Lexcom Communications; and IPTV provider, Consolidated Communications), has secured two new IPTV deployments: with CT Communications, an independent telco that has deployed CloverLeaf’s services to customers in Urbana and West Liberty, Ohio; and Panhandle Telecommunication Systems, a regional telco that has deployed the services to communities in the Oklahoma Panhandle area and Perryton, Texas. The new deployments mean that CloverLeaf’s walled-garden service is now available in over 100 cities: the service provides national, international, business and entertainment news from the Associated Press, local weather information, local movie theater guides, horoscopes, and ultra-localized information (for example, school lunch menus and community events calendars). "We have received great response from our customers," Panhandle Telecommunication Systems CEO, Ron Strecker, said in a prepared statement. "We are especially excited about the ability to provide local information such as community calendars and local movie guides to our customers–right on their TV’s."
