Turner Network Sales (TNS), the domestic distribution, sales and marketing arm of Turner Broadcasting System (TBS), has promoted Jon Bradway to director of video-on-demand. Bradway, who is based in Atlanta and reports to Heather Baldino, TNS’s SVP of network marketing and operations, will oversee internal and outsourced operations to execute the distribution of TBS content via VOD to support advertising sales, programming and marketing. According to the company, he will play a "critical" role in VOD product management and new VOD product development efforts throughout TBS. He will also help in strategy creation for distribution, marketing and operational improvement of VOD. Bradway was most recently a media analyst for TNS, working with TBS networks on their VOD efforts. In that role, according to the company, he managed marketing, conducted strategic analysis, and prospected advanced media products with an emphasis on VOD and interactive TV platforms. Bradway has a BA in managerial economics from Hampden Sydney College in Virginia, and is currently working on an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. He is, among other things, a member of CTAM and of the latter’s On Demand Consortium, and a member of the Special Olympics Young Leaders.
