UK-based interactive TV technology provider, Strategy & Technology (note: the company’s offerings include DSMCC object and data carousels, MHEG application development, MHEG engines for receiver applications, TV-Anytime stream generation, and more), has signed a distribution agreement with Magna Systems and Engineering that designates the latter as its distributor in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. The deal will see Magna Systems–which has offices in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Jakarta, and which, in addition to sales and distribution offers systems integration, installation and after-sales support services– offering S&T’s complete range of object and data carousels and transport stream generators for interactive TV and also providing full technical support in those markets. "Partnering with Magna Systems significantly enhances the service that we can provide to this major market," S&T’s director of international sales, Colin Prior, said in a prepared statement. "This will allow our customers in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia greater access to S&T’s market-leading products for digital interactive TV. Combined with Magna’s reputation for excellent after-sales service, this is an unbeatable combination for our customers."
